Graduating

Degree programme final exam

To be admitted to the final exam students must have attended an internship and written a Master's degree thesis in English. During the internship, which can be carried out in academic, private or governmental institutions with expertise in cosmetic products, students are expected to develop a personal project (thesis project) on a topic consistent with the Master's degree programme in order to acquire relevant 34 ECTS (for students who also need to acquire the 3 ECTS for Additional Language Skills - Italian) or 37 ECTS (for all the others).

The final exam consists of:

  • the preparation of a poster to describe the main contents of the thesis project (the poster will be left with the Graduation Committee);
  • a 10-minute oral presentation of the thesis as described in the poster.

The day of thesis students are also expected to bring their thesis work (even if only on a USB drive), which will be given back to them at the end of the graduation session.
